The Canaan Avalon Nano 3S is a compact home Bitcoin miner and space heater from Canaan, the maker of the industrial Avalon A-series. It delivers 6 TH/s at 140 W from a unit the size of a hardback book (20.5 × 11.5 × 5.8 cm, 860 g), runs at about 40 dB and is controlled from the Avalon app over Wi-Fi. It is one of the best-selling home miners in Europe, often used as a small desk heater or to soak up surplus solar power.

Mining Profitability
At today's hashprice ($40.93 per PH/s per day, 21 September 2026) 6 TH/s earns about $0.25 a day in a pool, against 3.36 kWh of electricity (about $1.11 at the EU household average). It is not an income machine. It makes sense as a heater you would run anyway, on solar surplus, or as a solo-mining lottery ticket: at around 946 EH/s of network hashrate its chance of finding a block is roughly 1 in 3,000 per year, for the full 3.125 BTC reward plus fees.
